Moraira has some of the most beautiful coastline available
in Spain and there is scuba diving available at around 25
different sites, including Moraira itself, Javea and Calpe,
where the diving is from 6 metres to around 40 metres, so
there's something for people of all certification levels.
Cavern and night dives are in abundance too, so the variety
is enormous and presents a perfect scuba diving holiday,
coupled of course with the very best, high
quality accommodation at Casa Crystalle.
Moraira boasts a number of popular dive sites including:
The Crazy Cove - an isolated
shallow bay where you can encounter anything from a
slumbering ray to a Barracuda
The Labyrinth - Incredible
maze-like rock formations and brightly coloured
fish - like being inside an aquarium
Armchair Rock - Around 14m,
during this gentle dive look out for the amazing Slipper
Lobsters
3 Amigos - 3 cavettes in a row,
full of cardinal fish, scorpion fish, sea stars and octopus
- crystal clear waters
Mushroom Rock - an enclosed bay
home to baby Moray eels and octopus
Cap D'Or - Beautiful and ancient
fallen rocks provide the setting for this dive on the
headland of Moraira.
El Portet - Gentle sloped dive to
18 metres providing an abundance of fish and sea
vegetation
For the beginner, there are a number of PADI qualified
diving courses. We recommend Scuba Moraira which has qualified
instructors as well as a super dive shop offering the very
latest scuba and snorkelling equipment.
